Building Wisedocs’ Legacy in Insurtech

When beginning on his journey, Connor had a mission to transform the claims process and resolve the significant manual backlog in the industry. With an extensive background in health services, information technology, and management consulting from his service under the Department of National Defence, Connor has a profound understanding of the current claims process. Wisedocs was born out of a deeply personal understanding of the gaps in the industry. Having served 12 years in the military, including experience in healthcare administration and firsthand exposure to the struggles of navigating the medical claims system, Connor identified critical inefficiencies. The manual nature of sorting and reviewing medical records led to significant delays in claim resolution, often taking up to 18 months to resolve. This backlog negatively impacts claimants who rely on timely care to recover from injuries and accidents. 

Recognizing the need for change, Wisedocs was developed to streamline this labour-intensive process. By automating the sorting, organizing, and summarization of medical records, Wisedocs reduces the time it takes to resolve claims by up to 70%, significantly improving outcomes for insurers, claimants, and all stakeholders in the process. Connor's exceptional journey, from the military to pioneering healthcare technology, is a true testament to his dedication to improving processes and enhancing the lives of medical evaluators, insurers, legal professionals, and claimants.
