Are you wading through large volumes of medical records that don't allow you to re-sort or customize documents once they've been processed? This can be very overwhelming and time-consuming, especially for IME companies, law firms, and insurance companies. This is where Wisedocs’ Multi DocList feature comes in.

What is Multi-versioning?

Wisedocs' Multi Versioning feature lets you create multiple customized lists of documents from a single set of medical records. Say you have a stack of medical files that you need to sort in different ways for different stakeholders. With Multi DocList, you can take these numerous records and create different sorted versions of it, so that each version shows only the information that's needed.

DocLists are indexed chronologies similar to digital folders within Wisedocs' platform that helps you keep your documents organized. After your records are reviewed by our AI learning model, each page is then scanned and sorted through Optical Character Recognition (OCR). This means that even if you have thousands of pages, they can be neatly categorized and organized to fit your unique needs. The original set of files is called the "Master DocList," and it stays exactly the same as when you uploaded it. This way, you always have a completely untouched version that is safely stored in the order you provided.

Main Features of Multi DocList

One of the main features of Multi DocList is its ability to help you create multiple customized document lists within your indexed medical records. You can organize and sort the same set of documents in different ways using workflows aimed at specific needs.

DocLists are a favourite feature of mine as I have seen how customizable the organization of documents can be, and just how useful this is for clients. This feature uses the OCR outputs to its highest degree to allow for a custom experience within the Wisedocs platform.

The DocLists are created once a workflow is run. If you'd like the set of documents to be in chronological order, the DocList will be generated to house the newly set of organized records. You can even manually create a DocList to focus on documents relevant to a specific author or provider by running the “Provider Sort” workflow. This allows you to select and move those documents into a new DocList, which can be easily renamed and downloaded for external use. Once everything is sorted, you can download the set of records as a PDF or Word Document.

For example, if you're an IME company handling a case with thousands of pages of medical records, you could create separate document lists for each specialist review required. One list might be for a psych assessment while another may be for an orthopedic assessment. This ensures each specialist has quick access to the most relevant information, reducing the chances of missing key details and speeding up the review process.

Traditional Methods vs. Our Approach

When companies choose traditional methods like offshoring medical records, it could potentially reduce costs, but it also comes with limitations. When your records are processed and returned, they are usually in a fixed order or format where you usually cannot re-sort or customize. You essentially get your document back in a "what you see is what you get" format, with little to no flexibility for further adjustments. Unfortunately, you end up spending more time and effort trying to make sense of it all.

With Wisedocs' Multi DocList, we aim to give this control back to you, allowing you to sort and organize your documents however you need, even after they're processed. You're not locked into a single view; you can create multiple lists based around your evolving needs.

Easily Manage New Files

It can be extremely tedious having to review entire case files every time a new document is added. With the Multi DocLists feature, you can add new files to your case without having to go back and review the entire case from scratch. Our solution lets you create a new DocList for new files and automatically sorts them into its relevant category. Plus, with our Miscellaneous and Deduplication features, you can easily separate out unnecessary or duplicate documents, keeping your lists clean and organized. You can focus on the most up-to-date and relevant information, saving you time and making your work life easier.

Key Takeaways

Overall, the Multi DocList feature will make working with medical records easier and more efficient. Whether you’re dealing with large volumes of documents, needing to keep things organized for different specialists, or simply want more flexibility than traditional methods offer, Multi DocList has you covered. We hope this overview has shown you how this tool can save you time and reduce frustration, allowing you to focus on what truly matters.
